Hey, Buddy, Can You Spare a Dinar? I have never had much respect/use for George Bush as a politician, but he is turning into quite the little comedian. As if his concept of fighting a "war on terrorism" by bombarding them with concessions wasn't hilarious enough, this latest thing of his about the creation of a "viable" Palestinian state is a real hoot. According to Merriam-Webster Online, "viable" is defined as: (1) Capable of living - especially, capable of surviving outside the mother's womb without artificial support; (2) capable of growing or developing; (3) capable of working, functioning, or developing adequately; (4) capable of existence and development as an independent unit; (5) having a reasonable chance of succeeding; (6) financially sustainable - as in a viable enterprise. I thought Bush came from a long line of bankers, or whatever. Where'd he get his MBA, out of a Cracker-Jack box? There is, in fact, no definition of the word "viable" applicable to the creation of a Palestinian state. It's no wonder so many S&Ls (like Silverado Savings & Loan) tanked under the reign of George I (Papa Bush), if they were making loans to businesses with prospects as dismal as Palestine. Do the math, George! It ain't gonna fly! They have no industry, no natural resources, and no infrastructure, and their only exports are terrorism, rude convenience store clerks and unintelligible taxi drivers. Moreover, they are essentially landlocked. Once Israel (wisely) closes its borders/airspace, the only way in or out will be through Jordan - by way of Syria, Iraq and/or Saudi Arabia. Forget, for a moment, that he advocates conferring nation status upon the largest terrorist cell in the Middle East. The very least harm George Bush is going to end up doing is creating a gigantic WELFARE STATE - and the American people are going to get the bill (as usual). I don't know
how to break it to you, George, but the American people have it tough
enough without a bleeding-heart liberal fairy princess like you pounding
our hard earned money down every third-world rat hole you can find. It's
bad enough we have to support our own welfare state, without having to
foot the bill for a bunch of chronically unemployable psychotic malcontents
who are constantly flipping the Islamic "bird" at the American
Eagle. |
